Happy March, everyone! I can’t believe we are already into our third month of 2014… time is certainly flying! I hope everyone is doing well in this forever chilly weather!
I did have one couple willing to brave the cold for their engagement shoot. We got a nice big snow, and headed out to the icy beauty of Cox Arboretum. It might have been the fastest shoot in history… only about 15 minutes, but the shots we got turned out pretty cute. They are a fun couple, and their pictures were able to reflect that quite well!
February was an amazing month for me. I appreciate all the love and support! I had a whopping 21 shoots and mini shoots in my new studio! It was a perfect way to break it in the place and determine what great things I want to add to it in the next few months!
As you know, February’s monthly specials were Valentine’s Day and Football. No one did the football, but I got tons of cute Valentine’s Day shots!
From babies to couples to families, everyone wanted to get in on the Valentine’s Day action! Good thing I had a lot of goofy props… those always make a photo shoot more fun!
Speaking of goofy props, with the donation of a new printer (thanks, Ian!) and the purchase of a backdrop that I can easily pack up and transport, I’ll now be able to do photo booths at parties! They won’t be the traditional booths that print up the strips of 4 pictures, but will be a photo booth with a twist; funny props and tons of laughs to be had! Message me for pricing to have me come set up this fun photo booth at your next event!
I have teamed up with the lovely Jessica Watkins, of Simply Makeup by Jessica, and we put together what we have fondly started calling our Makeover/Photo shoot day! Jessica does an amazing job of doing makeup, and I’ve gotten some gorgeous shots of the makeovers she’s done!
March specials are Saint Patrick’s Day and Mardi Gras! In-studio shoots with these themes are only $30! Normal in-studio shoots are $40, and out of studio shoots are $50. Message me to book your next session! Happy March!
